Halloween/Harvest Pary

I had one of my volunteer parents call other parents who signed up at the beginning of the year to plan the Halloween Party. It will be this Wednesday October 27 at 10:30 until lunch. We will be sending a lot of the treats home instead of eating too much here :-) Any and all parents are welcome to come, we will have a game station, a craft station, a decorating station. We only have 35 minutes after specials at the end of the day so we will put it in a scooby doo video. Hopefully the classroom will be clean and ready for conferences that night!

Red Ribbon Week

Monday: Follow your dreams - be drug free (wear your pjs)

Tuesday: Stay in the game - be drug free (wear team gear)

Wednesday: I'm too sharp for drugs (wear dressy clothes)

Scarecrow Contest

Scarecrow Contest
2nd Grade is competing in a scarecrow making contest! This contest is sponsored by Coleman Homes. 1st place is $750 which would go straight into our classroom funds! We need all of our Mill Creek patrons to go to the Coleman homes subdivision This is located off of Hwy 44 - If you're driving west through Middleton, turn right on Cemetery Road then left on Willis Rd. If you're driving east, before town, turn left on Hartley and then right on Willis Rd. You will see signs that will lead to the entrance on Willis. You will see our Coleman signs and flags at the Willis Rd entrance then follow the signs pointing you to the Sales Center where the display will be set up.

FRIDAY = Voting starts at 11am-7pm EVERY DAY Mon-Sun until Halloween Oct 31st. Voting ends Oct 31st at 7pm.

* VOTING RULES = 1 vote per person for the entire length of the contest.

Parent Teacher Conferences

I am looking forward to meeting with all of you for Parent Teacher conferences. I sent home the appointment time home with your child today. If the time is inconvenient, I would be happy to schedule another time with you. Simply call the office and talk with Mrs. Wallace or e-mail me or call me after 3pm or before 8am. Book orders

Book orders are due October 15! You can still get online up to and including October 15. There are some great $1 deals in each book order book.

Shoe Drive

Mill Creek is participating in a shoe drive during the month of October. Send in your family's new and/or gently used shoes and we'll be donating them to the Boise Rescue Mission! The class with the most shoes donated wins a PIZZA PARTY!
